REEFER MADNESS - We’re heading straight for… REEFER MADNESS! the cult musical sensation that many have arguably called the “Rocky Horror for a new generation”. The show is a hilariously campy satire based on the 1936 propaganda film entitled ‘TELL YOUR CHILDREN!’ which was shown to parents in small town communities and churches in the early 40’s warning against “the evils of marijuana and cannabis” use on America’s youth.
The subsequent cult following of the film has withstood the test of time and has been released and re-released in multiple versions; including a sequel, a colorized version, and the off-Broadway musical adaptation which will premier here at Genesius this Spring.
Audition Dates are Sunday March 3rd at 1pm. There will also be a re-audition with the Joint Audition on Saturday March 30th, Starting at 11pm
