Next season will open with a bang, with replacement seating in a brand-new layout. And here’s your chance to be forever a part of this storied theatre — with wording on a plaque on the arm of a seat of your choice.
Do it for yourself or honor someone else, or get a group or former cast together. Either way, it’s first come, first serve. Purchasers will be assigned a number in a queue, in the order that their money is received by the theatre. When the new seating layout is in place, seat sponsors will pick their seats in that order.
Want the best choice of seats? Get your money in ASAP!
Funds raised will pay for the new seating platform, and for transport of the seats from Kutztown University to the theatre (Thanks, Kutztown U. and Amy Botwright!). Any remaining money will be earmarked for capital improvements to the theatre building.
There’s a limit of 100 sponsored seats, so get your money in now, to have first pick.
It’s a great (and tax-deductible!) way to support your theatre. Get moving!
Here are the details:
»» Money must be paid before queue number is assigned.
»» When the new seating is brought over from Kutztown U. and installed, we will email a map of the new seat configuration. If you do not have email, this will be mailed to you.
»» We will then contact people individually in the queue order, using the contact info on the application forms.
»» We will initially contact you by phone and by email, and ask you for your seat choice and for two alternate choices. We will give you a “reply-by” date.
»» We will assign your seat to you using your first choice, if available, and then moving on to your second and third choice, if not.
»» Once we have confirmed your seat choice, we will mail you a confirmation of your choice and the wording on your plaque.
»» If we have not received a reply to our initial request for seat choices within five (5) business days of our contacting you, we reserve the right to skip you, go on to the next person in the queue, and either reinsert you in the queue or give you your seat choice, if available, at our discretion when you do contact us.
»» As needed, we may email/mail updated seat configuration maps with already-claimed seats marked, as the queue winds down.
